Description: A food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Junior Sales Representative to join their team. The role focuses on driving sales by presenting and promoting company products and services building strong client relationships expanding market share and achieving set targets. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Marketing Sales or Business graduate that is eager to kick-start their career in sales. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to developing and managing fortnightly call schedules and client visits; classifying segmenting and prioritizing clients to maximise growth opportunities; conducting market research and maintaining up-to-date product and industry knowledge; implementing and supporting promotional activities as per company guidelines; building and growing market share across all product categories; establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure service effectiveness; compiling and submitting accurate weekly sales and ADAPT reports within set deadlines; proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and emerging markets; managing sales administration and reporting processes to company standards; and ensuing client deliveries and services execution meet company expectations.
Key Requirements: A matric certificate is essential while a degree in Marketing Sales or Business would be advantageous. The ideal candidate should have 02 years sales experience in the FMCG sector; applications by graduates are welcome. A valid drivers license and the ability to speak afrikaans is compulsory for the position.
Additional Requirements: The ideal candidate should be driven energetic and results orientated; have strong planning organizational and time management skills; be detail-oriented and well organized; have strong numeracy skills and technical aptitude; be able to work independently and under pressure; have excellent communication and formal presentation skills; and be innovative and accountable.
