The Role:
As a valued member of the Plant IT team you will collaborate directly with manufacturing operations. You will provide comprehensive IT support and interface across a wide range of infrastructure and applications critical to production. You will leverage your knowledge and experience to contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on flexible and lean manufacturing. This will involve enabling Factory of Tomorrow (FOT) concepts including but not limited to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Software-defined networks next-generation error-proofing digital broadcast systems and various mobility solutions.
Working with a local team you will deliver essential support encompassing technical troubleshooting data analysis and problem resolution for plant floor applications and infrastructure. Furthermore you will lead various efforts to ensure all assigned manufacturing applications align with Fords productivity objectives.
You will also engage with diverse business departments within the plant ranging from assembly and industrial controls to quality manufacturing material planning and logistics.
