Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer in Grand Prairie TX under a second shift position.
What You Will Be Doing
This role will require communication and collaboration with multiple disciplines across the manufacturing site and on the programs.
The day to day business rhythm will be the application of manufacturing engineering methodologies and skills to meet customer requirements and achieve the goals and objectives of the production operation. You will be part of a team that contributes to the success of the programs and delivery of the product. Your responsibilities will include:
-Assist with the process development of multiple mechanical parts relating to an multiple programs.
-Work with shop floor personnel to develop work instructions that are accurate and yield high quality products.
-Work with NC programming Tool Design Engineering and shop floor personnel to continuously improve the process.
-Investigate and identify root cause for all defects related to the product.
-Support the program needs for delivery of assembled mechanical parts.
-Occasional travel is required.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
-Ability to work 2nd shift hours 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
-4 years in a manufacturing engineering support role
-Experience with assembly manufacturing and methods
-Experience troubleshooting complex problems and improving processes
-Occasional Travel required
Desired Skills:
-Experience with Creo Windchill PLM Apriso and SAP
-Experience with root cause and corrective action investigations
-Experience writing detailed work instructions
-Ability to communicate effectively
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day 3 days off per week
