About the position: We are seeking a reliable professional and welcoming Afterschool Front Desk Coordinator to join our Auxiliary Programs team. This new role is part of our effort to create a more consistent and secure dismissal procedure for Afterschool. The Afterschool Front Desk Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact for Afterschool dismissal. The Afterschool Front Desk Coordinator works with the Auxiliary Program team to ensure that families students and staff experience a well-organized rolling dismissal throughout the afternoon. This is a part-time in-person hourly position during the school year (September - June). The scheduled hours are 2:30pm - 6pm Monday - Friday. Based on the scheduled hours this position is not eligible for benefits other than paid holidays during the school year.
Primary Responsibilities: - During school dismissal safely check out independent walkers in accordance with school policies
- Answer calls on the Afterschool phone and provide timely courteous assistance to Afterschool families
- Communicate with other Auxiliary Program employees via walkie-talkie to coordinate rolling dismissal
- Greet parents and guardians serving as a friendly and professional presence during pick up
- Support the Auxiliary Program team upholding campus safety accountability and positive communication at dismissal
