The WRTP BIG STEP Lead Instructor & Facilities Manager is responsible for transforming lives by teaching mentoring being a role model and guiding participant learning by providing a dynamic innovative and positive learning environment. This position is adept at training and instructing in a variety of areas including the National Building Trades Multi-Craft Core Curriculum (MC3) OSHA 30 CPR tool recognition blueprint reading construction math and hands-on skilled training. The WRTP BIG STEP Lead Instructor & Facilities Manager is responsible for class instruction staff planning and supervision maintenance repairs clean-up inventory ensuring safety and compliance budget management vendor management communication and problem solving.

Skills
Journey worker credential or discipline-centered bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution; or
3 years of recent journey level work experience in building trades; or
1-year certificate or degree and two years journey level work experience in building trades; or
5 years union apprenticeship/construction experience.
Comparable building maintenance shop floor operations or training experience
