Senior Mgr, Infrastructure & Security

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager Infrastructure & Security to join our Information Technology Team. Reporting to the Vice President Information Technology this role is responsible for leading the strategic planning implementation and oversight of Semexs IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office per week.

What you will do:

• Develop and execute infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals
• Lead technology roadmaps portfolio planning and innovation initiatives
• Oversee the design implementation and lifecycle management of scalable secure IT systems
• Ensure system reliability through high availability disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Manage service desk operations and optimize ITSM processes (incident problem and change management)
• Lead threat detection and response including vulnerability assessments and incident handling
• Mentor and manage infrastructure security and service desk teams
• Oversee hiring resource allocation performance management and professional development
• Manage budgets timelines and vendor relationships for infrastructure and security projects

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Network Engineering or a related field
• 8 years in IT infrastructure or security roles including 5 years in leadership
• Hands-on experience with network design disaster recovery and business continuity
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity controls and monitoring tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiencesExperience in fast-paced cross-functional environments
• Strategic thinking leadership and adaptability
• Certifications such as PMP ITIL 4 CISSP or CISM are considered assets
• Proven success in:
  • Leading large-scale initiatives and managing budgets
  • Defining long-term technical strategies aligned with business goals
  • Negotiating with external partners and managing internal expectations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions
