Join a collaborative team of approximately 15 analysts in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role reports directly to the Analytical Manager. Your expertise in credit analysis will play a crucial role in shaping asset allocation decisions for investors. As a representative of a globally recognized rating agency you will leverage your industry research and thought leadership which could influence investor sentiment and market behaviour. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality strategic solutions that align with our organizational goals ensuring that your work contributes to the broader vision.

You will have the autonomy to manage operational systems advising on complex matters and taking accountability for delivering sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent timely and comprehensive credit analysis on fund finance.
  • Serve as the primary analytical contact for issuers intermediaries and investors addressing analytical inquiries promptly.
  • Manage a portfolio of credits including making recommendations presenting to rating committees and drafting press releases and rating reports in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform sector research and publish thought leadership pieces such as industry reports and commentaries.
  • Represent the company at external conferences and seminars delivering analytical presentations.
  • Lead special projects related to fund finance as needed.
  • You will also be expected to leverage your network within and outside the organization to ensure strategic alignment and influence key stakeholders.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field.
  • A S&P employee at this level typically has 7-10 years of analytical work experience in credit analysis specifically within fund finance structured credit or private equity/credit.
  • Proven analytical expertise with effective transaction document review skills as a plus.
  • A quick learner with advanced critical thinking abilities and meticulous attention to detail capable of navigating complex scenarios independently.
  • Strong multitasking abilities to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced global and regulated environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English complemented by strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Effective collaboration across teams time management to handle multiple projects adaptability to changing circumstances creativity in problem-solving and clear communication to articulate complex ideas are essential for success in this role.

All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
