Location: Windsor ON
Shift: Monday Friday
Start Time: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (flexibility may be required)
Compensation: $38/hour annual bonus
We are looking for a highly skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure all facility equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently. Areas of responsibility include fabrication paint line shipping and office operations.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on tradesperson with strong problem-solving ability technical knowledge and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility equipment.
- Complete scheduled PMs and follow up on outstanding items.
- Troubleshoot repair and modify machinery and systems as needed.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment and uphold safety policies at all times.
- Monitor production activity respond quickly to issues and support operations as required.
- Track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement.
- Assist with developing and implementing processes that improve safety quality and efficiency.
- Source and order parts materials and supplies in line with company purchasing procedures.
- Coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
- Provide regular updates to Operations Management and assist with capacity planning.
Requirements
- Licensed Millwright (433A)
- 3 years experience as a skilled trades technician.
- 1 year of experience using a CMMS system
- 1 year of experience working with Allen-Bradley
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work varied hours including occasional weekends if required.
