Job Summary
Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Utica NY 13502
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Evening (5x8s)
Shift Schedule: MondayFriday 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $900 $1040 weekly
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Utica NY.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including bathing grooming feeding toileting and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) especially for patients with dementia and memory care needs.
- Accurately document care in the PointClick Care EMR system.
- Float between units within the facility as needed.
- Maintain a safe clean and supportive care environment.
- Participate in weekend rotations as required.
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA License (Required).
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in long-term care or a similar setting.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Experience with dementia orthopedic and memory care populations preferred.
- Willingness to float to all units within the facility.
- Must complete fingerprinting prior to start (processing time 12 weeks).
- Ability to work every other weekend if required.
- Familiarity with PointClick Care EMR is a plus.
