Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of financial statements including monthly closings and quarterly reports for private equity funds
Manage debt hedge reporting and consolidation processes ensuring precision and full GAAP compliance
Collaborate with external auditors to manage audits tax deliverables and year-end financial footnotes
Drive the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies internal controls and investor reporting
Conduct technical accounting research providing actionable insights and memos as necessary

Requirements

A 4-year degree in Accounting or a Master of Accounting; CPA certification preferred
3-5 years of accounting experience ideally in private equity with a background at a public accounting firm being a plus
Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel; experience with Yardi Systems and Workiva software a plus
Strong expertise in consolidation equity method accounting and GAAP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with solid analytical and interpersonal abilities
