Job Summary

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Ithaca NY 14850

Unit: Labor and Delivery

Duration: 8 weeks (extendable)

Shift: 12x3 Nights

Pay Rate: $2828 Weekly Gross

Responsibilities

Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery.
Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth.
Administer prescribed medications and pain management interventions.
Provide emotional support guidance and education to patients and families.
Perform newborn assessments immediately following birth.
Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
Maintain a safe sterile and supportive environment.
Respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies as needed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery (required).
Post-partum experience (required).
Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months).

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing (minimum).

Certifications

BLS (AHA) required
ACLS required
NRP required
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring required
