About you

This opportunity is for a temporary contract (2 months) collaborating directly with our clients engineering team.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of professional Java software development.
- 4 years of professional experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for backend and Azure App Service for frontend.
- Proficiency with Docker for front-end and back-end services.
- Experience working with Application Gateway and Storage Accounts.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version management systems (Git).
- Experience writing unit tests and following best practices for quality.
- English proficiency is required.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Participate in collaborative concept definition architectural refinement and software design.
- Develop maintain and optimize backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Deploy and manage applications in Azure leveraging Kubernetes App Services and supporting cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure scalability reliability and security across microservices.
- Follow agile practices with the ability to work independently and as part of the agile team.
- Collaborate with QA design and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing throughout the SDLC.
