OmniSeq by Labcorp in Buffalo NY is seeking a qualified Histotech to join our team. Were offering the opportunity to work within a supportive team-oriented and engaging environment. This position will require routine sectioning H&E staining PD-L1 IHC and macrodissection!

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Sectioning blocks H&E staining and PD-L1 IHC

• Perform macrodissection on FFPE

• Performs routine maintenance on instruments and equipment in order to ensure that they are in working order

• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems for tracking and documenting patient samples and processes

• Maintain a clean safe well-stocked work environment in accordance with molecular standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

• Other duties as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Associates or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or related discipline required

• Must have an appropriate valid NYS professional license prior to starting

• 1 year of Histo related experience preferred

Pay Range:$32.00 - $41.00

All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicable degrees/certifications as well as internal equity and market data.
