Job Summary

Summary
Responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to nursing departments ensuring excellence in patient care quality and staff development. Directs nursing operations policy development and resource management to promote a safe and patient-centered environment in alignment with the organizations standards and goals.

Essential Functions
-Leads nursing teams in delivering high-quality evidence-based patient care across departments.

-Develops and implements nursing policies procedures and best practices per regulatory requirements.

-Collaborates with medical and administrative leaders to enhance patient care standards and interdepartmental communication.

-Oversees nursing budgets resource allocation and workforce planning to meet staffing and operational needs.

-Implements staff development initiatives fostering continuous learning and professional growth among nursing staff.

-Monitors performance metrics quality indicators and patient outcomes to drive improvements in care delivery.

-Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations safety standards and infection control protocols.

-Develops and nurtures a patient-centered culture emphasizing empathy accountability and teamwork.

-Represents nursing leadership in organizational planning and quality improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

Education
Masters Degree Nursing required or Masters Degree Related Field of Study preferred or DNP/PhD preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse RN - State License - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
Nursing experience 8-10 years required and Experience in a management or executive leadership role 5-7 years required
