Seeking NCCER certified riggers to ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials and equipment at our direct carbon capture plant in Goldsmith Texas.

Pay: $37 an hour $110 per diem
Hours: 50 - The work schedule can vary depending on project needs and can sometimes be 5/10s 6/10s or even up to 13/1s. We also need day or night shift availability.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the safe loading transportation and unloading of construction materials.
Selects appropriate cables ropes pulleys winches blocks and sheaves based on the loads weight and size.
Installs pulleys and blocks securely to permanent overhead structures like beams and ceilings using tools such as bolts and clamps.
Safely attaches loads using devices such as loops wires ropes and chains for crane operation.
Communicates effectively with crane operators or hoisting engineers during the hoisting process to ensure safety using hand signals loudspeakers radios or telephones.
Constructs and dismantles lifting apparatus and performs setups for hoisting with the use of hand and power tools.
Takes part in the assembly and disassembly of cranes.
Crafts and repairs slings or tackles by splicing ropes and wire cables.
Conducts routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to maintain excellent working condition.

Requirements:

Must hold a current NCCER Certified Advanced Rigger cert or NCCO Rigger I & II
3 Years experience as Advanced Rigger
Proven experience in rigging and a solid understanding of handling heavy loads.
Proficient in using both hand and power tools to set up hoisting equipment.
Night shift availability
