Job Summary

We are seeking to appoint a dedicatedTeaching Assistantto join our supportive and dynamic team atMeon Infant School part of theMeon Way Federation. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching and learning support under the guidance of classroom teachers helping to make learning engaging accessible and inclusive for all pupils.

Key responsibilities:

Delivertailored support to pupilsunder the direction of the Classroom Teacher
Coach and support pupils learning by supervising and assisting them in1:1 sessions and small groups
Help pupils engage across a variety oflearning activities and interventions
Supervise pupils during lunchtime ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment both in the dining hall and playground
Work collaborativelywith staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed

About You:

Aconfident communicatorwith strong written and verbal skills
Educated to aminimum Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
Highly motivated energetic and reflectivewith a passion for helping pupils and building positive relationships with both students and parents/carers
