Essential Functions:
- Daily organization of staffing coverage.
- Productivity tracking and supervision ensuring the team is following our SOPs.
- Monthly Linen Inventory.
- Load and unload laundry from machines.
- Sort and stretch linen. Identify any stained or torn linen and discard appropriately
- Operator washers dryersironer mangler and towel folder. Report any engineering issues to housekeeping office.
- Monitor chemicals to ensure they are working properly. Report any concerns to housekeeping office.
- Ensure the two chute rooms are being cleaned the linen is being sorted and brought to the laundry area for washing.
- Clean up machines and surrounding areas.
- Assist houseman by taking linen to the floors.
Specific Job Knowledge Skill and Ability:
- Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents and operation of different types of equipment.
- Effectively communicate with guest and associates.
- Ability to lift bend stoop walk push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100lbs.
- Must be able to follow instructions directions organize and. prioritize work.
- Ability to learn and apply Hazardous Chemical and Performance For Excellence training standards during new hire introductory period.
- Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand and communicate information for reasons such as safety and securitye.g. product safety labels and emergency instructions.
Education:
High School Diploma GED or equivalent experience
Experience:
None required laundry experience preferred.

All employees must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance
