Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Low Voltage Foreman to lead installation projects for critical life-safety systems in healthcare environments. The Foreman will oversee crews ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. This role requires strong technical expertise in fire life-safety nurse call and security systems along with proven leadership experience in healthcare construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage crews directing daily activities and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
  • Maintain accountability for project quality safety and timely completion.
  • Act as the main liaison with clients contractors and internal teams ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
  • Mentor and train technicians fostering skill development and team efficiency.
  • Oversee project reporting and provide regular progress updates.
  • Enforce safety standards and handle personnel-related matters on-site.

Schedule

  • Flexible availability required including weekends nights split shifts and rotating schedules as needed.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • In-depth knowledge of security nurse call and fire life-safety systems including but not limited to EST3 Lenel and Ascom.
  • Ability to program and troubleshoot life-safety security and nurse call systems.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of construction and/or low voltage installation experience.
  • 5 years of experience installing low voltage systems in healthcare facilities.
  • 4 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California drivers license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Strong work ethic punctuality and consistent attendance.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Regular use of hands wrists and fingers for repetitive motions.
  • Ability to walk drive bend stoop hear and speak clearly.
  • Ability to move transport and install items weighing 50 pounds daily.
  • May require driving for 2 hours per shift/day.
  • Work occasionally performed at extreme heights in confined spaces or under varied temperature conditions.
  • Frequent work inside hospitals and healthcare facilities with patient contact.
