Job Summary
Do you have a creative flair and a passion for eBay
Were looking for volunteers to help identify items for sale online take photographs and upload them to eBay for sale.
The ideal volunteer will have:
- An interest in charity retail
- Interest in vintage collectable or pre-loved products
- A willingness to help and make a difference
- Be able to work with a team
- A friendly and helpful nature
- The ability to listen to and take instructions
- A commitment to the ethos of The Salvation Army
Duties
- Researcher Items to be researched using eBay/Google lens etc to see if they are worth listing on eBay or should be sold in the shop/Donation Centre
- Information gathering You will collate the item information such as item title description measurements etc. I.T and/or logged in a book.
- Photography Do you like photography You dont need to be an expert and suitable and efficient equipment will be supplied for your role.
- Lister Someone who can input the photos and information into the software. This is the more technical part of the role and full training will be given.
- Packer/Dispatcher You will have to follow up great customer service by wrapping packing and applying a shipping label to complete the customer experience.

This role is an unpaid role but reasonable travel expenses will be paid in line with the volunteer expense policy along with 25% discount on all purchases.
The time commitment for this role is flexible and will be agreed in advance with the charity Shop Manager but if you have any available hours to spare then please apply now as we would love to talk to you
