Location: Limestone Correctional Facility Harvest AL 35749
Contract Dates: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $45.00/hr
OT Rate- $67/hr
Shift: Nights 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (30-min meal break)
Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed Sunday Saturday (rotating schedule)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct patient care at Limestone Correctional Facility. This role focuses on urgent medical needs with additional support for behavioral health services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor patient health status and provide routine nursing care.
Administer medications injections and treatments per orders.
Document vital signs fluid intake/output and specimen collections.
Provide wound care catheter care and infection control measures.
Assist physicians and RNs with care planning and clinical support.
Supervise and collaborate with CNAs and healthcare aides.
Respond promptly to urgent and emergent health concerns within the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

Active LPN License (Alabama or Compact State).
At least 1 year of LPN experience (correctional behavioral health or acute care preferred).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Strong communication documentation and assessment skills.
Ability to work night shifts in a secure correctional environment.
