Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Residential Landscape Maintenance Account Manager (Client Steward) with a leading Residential Landscape Construction & Maintenance company that has provided premier residential maintenance and enhancement services since 1991. This is an immediate hire within the Residential Landscape Maintenance Division reporting to the Maintenance Team Manager and based in Libertyville IL (Chicago North Suburbs).
You would assume and steward an existing $3MM client portfolio while growing the division through enhancements seasonal displays and new client development. Success looks like building deep client trust proactively offering creative solutions and managing projects through completion in close partnership with operations.

Target Candidate Profile 1: Experienced Landscape Account Manager Stewardship & Growth
  • 3 years of progressively responsible landscape maintenance/account management experience
  • Proven ability to manage a large book of business ($2M)
  • Skilled at renewals client retention and generating new business
  • Comfortable managing clients with seasonal display investments of up to $30000
  • Excellent horticulture knowledge: degree preferred
  • Fluent in English; Spanish helpful
  • Ready to assume responsibility for $3MM book of business and expand it through new client development
Target Candidate Profile 2: Early-Career Landscape Account Manager Ambitious and Growth-Oriented
  • 3 5 years in landscaping design/build or project management
  • Demonstrated client service and ability to upsell or generate add-on work (enhancements and seasonal displays)
  • Eager to gain experience managing clients with high-value seasonal display budgets
  • Comfortable and disciplined in using management software (e.g. Aspire) for estimating scheduling and client reporting
  • Ambitious and focused; seeking career development in client account management and sales
  • Motivated by the opportunity to manage a $3MM book while also bringing in new clients to help grow Rosboroughs Maintenance Division

Onboarding & Success Path
  1. First 30 Days: Orientation to Company culture systems (Aspire) and Maintenance Division structure; shadow current Client Stewards; leadership-led client introductions.
  2. 60 90 Days: Take a portion of the $3MM book; conduct site audits and action plans with the Maintenance Operations Manager; begin enhancement and seasonal display estimates/proposals; engage new business prospects.
  3. First 6 Months: Fully manage the inherited portfolio with consistent client communication; demonstrate revenue generation via enhancements seasonal displays and new business; establish trust through high-quality service and proactive updates.
  4. 12 Months & Beyond: Serve as primary steward for the $3MM portfolio; consistently renew contracts and expand revenue via cross-selling and business development; be recognized as a key contributor to division growth.

  • Base salary: $75000 $100000 (commensurate with experience)
