Job Summary

Math Tutor (Algebra I & Geometry) Part-Time

Location: Marietta GA (in-person or virtual)
Schedule: 2 hours per week (1 hour each for two students)
Compensation: $25/hour ($50/week paid monthly)

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable math tutor to work with two high school students on a weekly basis. The tutor will provide individualized instruction to support understanding and mastery of Algebra I (8th grade student) and Geometry (10th grade student).

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one tutoring for Algebra I (8th grade) and Geometry (10th grade).
Meet with each student for 1 hour per week (total of 2 hours weekly).
Tailor instruction to align with school curriculum and reinforce classroom learning.
Assist with homework test preparation and skill-building.
Deliver sessions either in-person in Marietta GA or virtually (via video call).

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Algebra I and Geometry.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
Dependable patient and encouraging.
College students graduates or certified teachers are welcome to apply.

Compensation:
