Job Title: IT IAM Analyst

Location: Onsite in Merrifield VA 2 days per week (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced IT IAM Analyst with deep expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) to join our team in Merrifield VA. This role requires a hands-on professional who can operate and enhance IAM systems using platforms like SailPoint and Saviynt and serve as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions.

As part of our IAM security team youll be responsible for maintaining and improving identity governance processes supporting compliance and access reviews and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders to implement scalable secure IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer support and optimize IGA platforms such as SailPoint and Saviynt.

Develop execute and manage access certifications attestations and recertification campaigns.

Analyze and translate business requirements into technical IAM configurations and workflows.

Support user lifecycle management (joiner/mover/leaver) RBAC and entitlement reviews.

Monitor IAM operations to ensure policy compliance audit readiness and risk mitigation.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Security Compliance Audit and IT Operations.

Produce documentation for procedures configurations and user guides.

Mentor junior team members and participate in knowledge sharing and training initiatives.

Continuously evaluate current IAM processes and recommend improvements in governance and automation.

Required Qualifications:

8 years of experience in Information Systems or Data Analytics with strong focus on IGA.

5 years of hands-on IAM experience in governance operations and business engagement.

Proven experience working with SailPoint Saviynt or similar IGA tools in enterprise environments.

Skilled in developing and managing certification campaigns access reviews and entitlement management.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into secure scalable technical IAM solutions.

Strong problem-solving research and analytical skills with attention to detail and deadlines.

Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries.

Certifications in SailPoint Saviynt or other IAM technologies.

Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOX GDPR etc.

Familiarity with IAM-related scripting (PowerShell Python) and APIs.

Exposure to cloud identity platforms (e.g. Azure AD AWS IAM) is a plus.
