THE ROLE
Our site in Billerica MA is seeking a/an Reliability Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role you will work closely with a team of Maintenance Professionals and Equipment Engineers. You will be the liaison between the two teams implementing design improvements to the production equipment and the maintenance process.
What Youll Do
Work cross-functionally with engineers maintenance technicians and operations personnel working to increase the over reliability of production equipment.
Implement PdM (Predictive Maintenance) technologies to existing maintenance program.
Design and install equipment improvements using SolidWorks
Optimize and standardize maintenance preventative maintenance and calibration procedures
Formulate solutions to reduce the cost of maintenance by reducing the amount of labor or extending the life of machine components
What We Seek
High School Diploma or certified equivalent and/or some education obtained through a tech school college or related courses.
Minimum 0-2 years of experience
Standard Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 - 16:30 some overtime required.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year
Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related Engineering field preferred.
Graduation date of Spring 2026 or later.
Eligibility
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Occasionally lift or move items up to 2550 pounds such as parts tools or documents. Extended periods of standing or walking during plant inspections or production oversight. Ability to walk long distances across the plant floor climb stairs or ladders and occasionally access elevated platforms or confined spaces.

Compensation: $25-$30/per hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
