Job Summary

Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our National Construction Team based in our new Utah office. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities building strong client relationships and driving growth across our national portfolio. The ideal candidate is a proactive results-oriented professional with experience in construction paving or related industries and a proven ability to secure and manage large-scale contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand DVPs presence in national construction markets.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities in target industries and regions.
  • Build maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the estimating and operations teams to develop proposals bids and presentations.
  • Attend industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to promote DVPs services and capabilities.
  • Track analyze and report on market trends competitor activities and business opportunities.
  • Achieve sales and revenue growth targets aligned with company objectives.
  • Partner with internal leadership to ensure seamless project handoffs and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Construction Management or related field (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in business development sales or client management within construction paving or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of securing large-scale contracts and achieving sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes estimating and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a national team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
