Berglund Ford in Salem VA is seeking experienced and motivated A-Level Automotive Technicians / Master Technicians to join our growing service department. As an A-Level Technician your role is critical in diagnosing and repairing advanced automotive systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Job Responsibilities
Diagnose repair and maintain vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications (including brakes steering suspension electrical heating/AC transmission and engine performance)
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks
Provide accurate labor and time estimates for necessary repairs
Communicate effectively with service advisors clearly explaining mechanical issues and recommended repairs to non-technical individuals
Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through ongoing training and certification
Assist and mentor lower-level technicians to ensure team success
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as an automotive technician
High School Diploma or GED required
Valid Drivers License required
ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering & Suspension A5 Brakes A6 Electrical/Electronic Systems A8 Engine Performance etc.)
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team-focused environment
Strong commitment to safety quality and customer satisfaction
Schedule
Full-time in-person position
Day shifts MondayFriday with some weekend availability
Overtime opportunities may be available
