We have an exciting opportunity for an onsite Systems Engineer I to join our Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate in McKinney Texas. TEE is a multi-discipline organization responsible for contributing to the development of test solutions for all Raytheon products. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies selection and integration with test instruments and environments to develop a test system for all Raytheon products including both lab engineering and factory production test systems.

The Systems Engineer I will be responsible for the design development integration and validation of analysis hardware and software test solutions for multiple production programs using engineering best practices under the guidance of the Team Lead and Section Manager.

What You Will Do

• Work with hardware software and program engineers to design and develop data analysis solutions that place process pass/fail data at multiple build points.
• Implement system software engineering best practices in planning development and execution of scope schedule and budget
• Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings
• Provide hands on support to product testingwithin an engineering and production test environment
• Share knowledge and provide mentoring to other engineers on the Multi-Functional RF Test Solutions robotics team
• Drive commonality in the teams solutions
• Adhere to the Sections Software Development Plan (SDP)
• Report program status weekly
• Support the Section Manager and Team Lead in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• Experience with UNIX / Linux operating environment
• Experience with Bash and/or Perl
• Experience with SQL commands
• Experience with HTML web development

Qualifications We Prefer

• RF Domain Knowledge and experience with processing RF parametric test data
• Knowledge of statistical analysis of data
• Knowledge of the Software Life Cycle
• Solid understanding and experience in Statistical Process Controls
• Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c
• Experience with Splunk

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
