Job Summary
VISTA Technology Services Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a senior-level Sustainment Manager to support our NAVSEA customer .This is a hybrid position reporting onsite 3days a week in Washington DC.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated results-oriented and have DoD management experience supportingACAT I programs.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Sustainment Manager will help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication and will implement and maintain organizational programs in support of Navy clients and organizational Department of Defense (DoD) system sustainment strategies. They will also:
- Work with key stakeholders to review maintenance and sustainment contracts and project costs for client Navy platforms
- Help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project and Power-Bi applications making regular interactions with system stakeholders SMEs schedulers and project analysts
- Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills ensuring the program achieves its goals and meets quality standards
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Program Management Acquisition or a Business field
- 10 years of experience with Project Management Program Management or Product Support Management within DoD or NAVSEA Program Offices
- 2 years of experience in New Construction or Shipbuilding PM support
- Knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements and Federal Acquisition processes
- Knowledge of military or commercial Unmanned Systems
- Ability to develop senior IPS or PM products and engage with and brief senior leadership on those products
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Unmanned Maritime System (UMS) Acquisition or UMS Sustainment Management
- Knowledge of Unmanned Maritime Systems
- Masters degree in Program Management Acquisition Business or a related field
- PMP or SCRUM Certification
Salary at VISTA is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $140000.00 to $165000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of VISTAs total compensation package for employees.
