Job Summary

*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Android Developer position! This is a 12-18 month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States (EST working hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis design and development.
Play a key role as an individual contributor on complex projects.
Maintain an excellent functional understanding of the supported application(s).
Direct and monitor less experienced resources and coordinate development tasks on projects.
Prepare and manage the technical component of project plans.
Participate in system development activities from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.
Prepare and review test data and detailed test plans. Handle debugging tasks.
Evaluate interrelationships among programs applications and platforms. Provide analytical leadership.
Prepare technical and functional specifications system documentation charts tables and diagrams.
Assess required tasks and effort for project scopes.
Recommend and evaluate new technologies or vendor software as needed.
Promote development standards and procedures.
Maintain an understanding of supported business units and their operations.
Ensure adherence to risk and regulatory standards.
May lead or participate in due diligence cost/benefit analysis or business study activities.

What Youll Need to Have:

Proficiency with Kotlin and Java
Experience building mobile applications and systems
Solid understanding of Android architecture and design components
Minimum of an Associates degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience OR a combined 7 years of education/work experience including 5 years of systems analysis/application development.
Familiarity with application development platforms.
Strong problem-solving organizational and communication skills.
Experience coordinating between Applications and business units.
Demonstrated success in driving project milestones and implementations.

Pay Range:$55-$70/hr
