This is a Title 1 position that offers a base salary of around $59000.00 and NOT eligible for a performance bonus.

The Title 1 Curriculum Coordinator plans and coordinates the development of curriculum objectives for grades K-5 as well as generally oversees the development implementation and assessment of teacher developed customized lessons activities assessments and tools for these grades.

This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently typically 40 hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday typically 8am-5pm central time.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Coordinates the development of curriculum objectives for grades K-5; Monitors the implementation and evaluation of these objectives;
Plans and monitors teacher development and implementation of customized lessons activities assessments and tools for these grades including special populations;
Evaluates effectiveness of the material;
Supports course audits ensuring alignment to Title 1 state standards.
Develops and aligns curriculum assessments and instructional materials to state standards
Ensures instructional programs meet all state and federal guidelines including those for special populations (e.g. GT ELL Special Education).
Collaborates with teachers and administrators to design formative and summative assessments.
Mentors/acts as a resource to teachers by providing expertise and ongoing support; Conducts curriculum meetings as required;

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of teaching experience
Curriculum Design experience
Working knowledge of Texas state standards (TEKS)
Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint Project Visio etc.); Web proficiency.
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel 20% of the time
Ability to clear required background check

Certificates and Licenses: Texas Teaching Certificate

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters degree in Curriculum
Experience developing curriculum and assessment
Experience with building High Quality Instructional Materials for the classroom
Project Management experience
Experience teaching or leading in an online setting
