The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for leading and managing speech and hearing services in the facility following all local state and federal rules and guidelines to provide the right care for residents.
To become a Speech-Language Pathologist you need to have the following:
- A valid license to practice in your state.
- Education that meets the requirements for your license.
- A valid drivers license.
- Knowledge about the rules and guidelines for skilled nursing homes and long-term care.
**Qualifications:**
- At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist - REQUIRED
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation - REQUIRED
- A Washington State license - REQUIRED
- CCC certified Speech-Language Pathologist - REQUIRED
