Opening Fall 2025 the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel located at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites multiple restaurants a vibrant rooftop bar a sprawling pool spa and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space including a grand ballroom junior ballroom 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.

Ensure guests are welcomed to the restaurant from the time they walk through the door until the time they depart. Greet guests in a friendly polite manner be prompt and reliable and help your co-workers whenever possible.

• To follow enforce comply and adhere to all Bobs Steak & Chop House rules policies procedures standards and recipes at all times.

• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.

• Answer phone and record reservations as requested using good judgement and precise timing.

• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability service safety and wellbeing of guests.

• Seat guests by finding a clean available table pulling out chairs and placing clean menu in front of guest .

• Assist managers in opening and closing of the restaurant.

• Attend to and anticipate guests needs.

• Control heavy volume at restaurant entrance.

• Assist servers when needed.

• Familiarization with menu and knowledge of daily specials.

• Thank every guest upon departure invite them to return and wish them a fond farewell.

• Knowledge of daily function sheet in-house VIPs current activities hours of operation throughout the hotel etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of experience in a similar position preferred.

• Fine dining or steak house experience preferred.

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to multitask in a high-volume setting.

• Maintain a professional business appearance attitude and performance.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:

• Move bend lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.

• Requires repetitive motion.

• May work both indoors and outdoors.
