About the position
ORLEN Upstream Norway AS (OUN) is seeking a skilled Senior Facility & Project Engineer to support the execution of our offshore development projects with a primary focus on the Yggdrasil project.
This role is vital in managing compliance with engineering standards project timelines and safety regulations throughout the design construction and commissioning phases. The Senior Facility & Project Engineer will provide technical oversight and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering efforts. Acting as a key interface between engineering operations construction teams and vendors the Senior Facility & Project Engineer will play an essential role in ensuring the seamless integration of new offshore facilities into the operational environment. The position involves active support during offshore installation hook-up and commissioning contributing to efficient execution risk mitigation and operational readiness.
The role will be part of the Asset Management Department Tommeliten Alpha/Yggdrasil Area and reports to the Asset Manager for Yggdrasil Area.

Duties and Responsibilities
Accountabilities
- Recommend technology and field development solutions for offshore assets
- Ensure safe reliable and cost-effective development operations and decommissioning of assets
- Maximize value of assets
- Deliver technical contributions to cross-unit projects
- Coordinate with other OUN departments
- Coordinate major projects with external parties/partners
Main tasks
- Represent the company in license committees
- Perform early phase evaluation field development studies and cost estimates
- Support systematic and periodic review of a risk management plan and risk register of assets
- Support enterprise risk management processes and participate in risk assessments in licenses
- Maintain and update Engineering Management procedures
- Support compliance with Havtil regulations as well as industry standards and guidelines for assetsin the portfolio
- Follow up on HSE performance to maintain the highest HSE culture with safe thinking in operations
- Provide technical support for both non-operated and exploration assets
- Support in licensing rounds and business development activities
- Perform other duties as required to support the role and organizational objectives
Qualifications
Education
- Masters degree in relevant discipline is preferred
Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
Experience
- Minimum 8 yearsof experience within facility engineering
Technical requirements
- Knowledge of relevant law and regulations within Oil and Gas business on NCS
- Good knowledge and experience within Process Safety Flow Assurance Production - Facilities- and Project Engineering Operations Management
- Good sense for details and quality
- Good IT literacy and analytical skills
- Well-established industry network
Personal qualities
- Team player who collaborates and communicates respectfully with others in a diverse and multicultural environment
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Understands the connection between own tasks and the overall strategy
