THE POSITION

As a kitchen supervisor you are responsible for assisting the Chef in delivering consistently high-quality food in a busy hotel kitchen handling purchase orders and ensuring that items arriving without authorization are not received.

You maintain the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and stay up-to-date on new products recipes and preparation techniques.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and assist the kitchen & F&B staff in all aspects of food production and service.

  • Maintain strict health and hygiene standards

  • Monitor the quality of the dishes and workflow in the kitchen

  • Ensure the adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations

  • Contribute to a friendly and flexible cooperation climate

  • Optimize the cooking process with attention to speed and quality

  • Proven experience as a Cook or strong experience as a Demi Chef ready to take the next step

  • Deep knowledge of culinary techniques kitchen operations and food safety standards

  • Ability to work independently and manage your section from prep to plating

  • Experience in high-paced kitchen environments with a focus on consistency and quality

  • Natural leadership skills to guide and support junior team members

  • A strong sense of organisation and attention to detail you know your mise en place matters

  • Passion for fresh high-quality ingredients and modern presentation

  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing menu events and seasonal influences

  • A positive mindset resilience under pressure and a real love for the craft of cooking
