About the role
Ascot Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team in Adelaide South Australia. As a Site Supervisor you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects ensuring they are completed efficiently safely and to the highest quality standards whilst also working on the tools. This is a full-time position based in Greater Adelaide.
What youll be doing
Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams including tradespeople and labourersOverseeing the proper use of tools equipment and materialsMonitoring progress and making adjustments to work schedules and plans as neededHands on carpentryProviding hands-on support and guidance to the construction team as requiredLiaising with PMs clients subcontractors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concernsEnsuring compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulationsMaintaining detailed records and documentation related to the projectWhat were looking for
Extensive experience (5 years) as a Site Supervisor in the construction industryMinimum Cert III in Carpentry or equivalentStrong knowledge of construction methods materials and equipment particularly in commercial environments.Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans blueprints and specificationsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safety and quality standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offer
