Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Audiologist for a part-time 1-day-a-week position to perform comprehensive hearing tests. This is a fee-for-service 1099/per-unit opportunity that pays $20 per 15 minute audiogram. The Audiologist will conduct audiological evaluations proficiently analyze data and prepare reports used in the evaluation of Social Security disability benefit applications.
Responsibilities:
- Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth audiological assessments including gathering audiometry tympanometry and hearing aid evaluations of applicants.
- Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests and medical data.
- Report: Create a comprehensive diagnostic report including accurate and complete descriptions of the applicants condition(s).
- Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your report quickly and easily.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree.
- Valid state audiology licensure and ASHA certification.
- Proficiency in audiometric testing and evaluation.
- Experience in a medical office setting or private practice is preferred.
