Description

The Department of Computer Science at Iona University welcomes applications for an adjunct positionto teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Network Security as part of it Cybersecurity concentration. The courses will be offered in Spring 2026 andare fully in-person.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and assignments that align with course objectives and promote active learning.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments projects and assessments to support their academic growth and development.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and submit all required assessment materialsas instructed by the departments assessment coordinator.
  • Hold regular office hours to assist students with coursework and projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $1273 to $1562 per credit based on course level and qualifications.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or aPh.D.in Computer Science or a related field.Candidates with relevant industry experience and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment.
  • Commitment to student success academic excellence and continuous professional development.
