What You Will Do

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) is seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to be a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP).
Creating / Evaluating new or down change part designs
Working collaboratively to solve problems with integrated product teams and system design teams
Providing shop vendor and test support as needed
Executing to engineering standard work

What You Will Learn

This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or a related field
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

Internship experience with Pratt & Whitney RTX or within the aerospace industry
Experience with Teamcenter Unigraphics and Ansys
Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience

Selected candidate will be automatically enrolled in the P&W Engineering Development Program (Rotational Program within P&W).
Eligible for the Employee Scholar Program on Day 1.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
