Job Summary

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Join an esteemed medical facility in Davenport Iowa as a Locum OB/GYN Hospitalist! This opportunity allows you to work within a vibrant community providing essential care in an organized and supportive environment. The facility is a Level 3 trauma center offering advanced OB services with 24-hour coverage that includes comprehensive support from a dedicated team of professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

Triage and deliver OB patients (average 65-80 deliveries per month).
Cover ER calls for OB/GYN.
Round on patients within the unit.
Handle no doctor patients (approx. 1 or less per day).
Perform circumcisions if able (not mandatory).
Be available for either 24-hour or 12-hour call shifts in-house.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED (FM OB Physicians will not be accepted).
Active Iowa Medical License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED.
Fetal Monitoring by AWOHNN - REQUIRED.
Availability for weekday coverage (Monday to Friday) weekends welcomed.
2 references (one must be from a supervisory position or above) - REQUIRED.
Clean malpractice/background - REQUIRED.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active IA License or Active IMLC.
Fetal Monitoring certification by AWOHNN.
Board Certification in OB/GYN.
