Routes: Auckland Wharf and Metro Auckland with occasional trips to Hamilton or Tauranga.
Locations: Based out of our site in Onehunga.
Hours: min 40 hours per week full-time permanent positions.AM shift (5am start) and PM shift available.
What youll do:
- Operate aSkeletal Trailer Truck for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery to sites across Auckland and Auckland Ports.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
- Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
- Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
- Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.
What You Will Bring:
- A valid Clean Class 5 Licence and Dangerous Goods Licence.
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience operating Class 5 Skeletal Trailer Truck transporting containers is essential.
- Experience with Skully Tipping Swing Truck & Trailer or Container Trailers is highly desirable.
- Sound knowledge of the Auckland Ports and Metro Auckland routes.
- Excellent communication time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- A comprehensive understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
- Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
