About Us:
Rigid Global Buildings is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring the stability security and performance of our IT infrastructure while supporting business operations and driving technological improvements. This position reports to the Director of IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage configure and support Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Administer and maintain Active Directory Group Policy and user accounts
- Design implement and troubleshoot networking solutions (LAN/WAN firewalls VPNs switches routers)
- Deploy maintain and optimize VMware environments (ESXi vCenter virtual machines)
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices including patch management endpoint protection and threat response
- Provide technical support and resolve escalated IT issues
- Assist with IT projects including upgrades migrations and cloud integrations
- Monitor system performance backup/recovery and disaster recovery processes
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in IT administration and support
- Strong expertise in:
- Networking (TCP/IP DNS DHCP firewalls VPNs)
- Active Directory (Group Policies domain services)
- Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- VMware virtualization (ESXi vCenter)
- Cybersecurity best practices and tools
- Relevant certifications preferred: CCNA MCSA/MCSE VCP CompTIA Security or equivalent
- Excellent troubleshooting documentation and communication skills
