Join STRs Visualization Interactive Experience (VizIX) team and create user experiences for cutting-edge projects spanning artificial intelligence cybersecurity advanced sensors space systems and many more emerging fields. This internship offers unmatched variety and real impact.

As STRs center of excellence for visualization and interactive innovation our team collaborates with experts across four fascinating technology domains: Analytics (artificial intelligence and machine learning) Cyber (network security and threat detection) Sensors (advanced physics-based systems and data collection) and Systems (cutting-edge technology from autonomous vehicles to space exploration). Youll be assigned to one or two specific projects - typically web-based applications - but gain exposure to the diverse range of cutting-edge work happening across these domains. Unlike commercial roles that focus narrowly on a single product area this internship offers insight into multiple fascinating fields while you develop deep expertise on your assigned project.

Job Description:

• You will work as part of a close-knit team with direct mentorship from senior engineers and researchers who are committed to supporting your professional growth.
• You will collaborate with researchers scientists and engineers across multiple technology domains to create compelling digital experiences while mastering industry-standard tools like React and Unity and learning specialized skills in data visualization and interactive design.
• You will have the opportunity to support projects in various phases of development from user research and wireframing to interactive prototyping and full-stack implementation usability testing and iteration and deployment of production-ready applications across web mobile and immersive platforms.
• You will participate in collaborative team sessions including design reviews code discussions and brainstorming meetings where youll share your work learn from others and contribute fresh perspectives to solving complex technical challenges.

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a BS/BA MS or PhD degree program in computer science web development software engineering game development digital media human-computer interaction graphic design or related technical discipline.
• Strong academic record and interest in interactive technology development.

Core skills (at least one required):

• Programming/Web development: HTML CSS JavaScript React Vue Python C Java
• Game development: Unity Unreal Engine

Bonus skills (great to have):

• Mobile development: iOS Android React Native
• 3D graphics and modeling
• VR/AR development
• UI/UX design tools: Figma Sketch
