As HR Manager you will play a critical role in leading the people agenda and creating a positive safe and high-performing work environment. This role combines strategic input with hands-on delivery and team leadership aligning HR initiatives with broader business goals.
- Promote and embed a culture where employee well-being and safety are prioritised. Work closely with relevant teams to ensure compliance with health and safety policies and legal requirements supporting a healthy and secure workplace.
- Shape and support a positive workplace culture by aligning the HR strategy with the companys values. Foster an inclusive and engaged environment where people can thrive.
- Manage and lead the HR team to deliver a professional responsive and comprehensive HR service across all areas of the business.
- Develop and implement people strategies that support the organisations strategic objectives focusing on growth performance and long-term capability.
- Provide coaching and expert advice to managers on all aspects of people leadership including team development organisational change and business transformation.
- Lead the recruitment process from sourcing to selection and manage onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a positive experience for employees throughout their lifecycle.

- Significant practical HR experience (typically 5 years) ideally in both operational and strategic roles.
- Proven track record in handling employee relations performance management and organisational change.
- Formal qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 5 or above) is desirable but not essential if supported by substantial relevant experience.
- Candidates without a degree or CIPD qualification will be considered if they demonstrate strong practical experience and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law TUPE redundancy disciplinary and grievance processes and GDPR.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g. Workday SAP BambooHR) and Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
