THE ROLE
Our site in Billerica MA is seeking a/an Microanalysis Scientist Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
What Youll Do
Perform and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers.
Become proficient in advanced analytical tools including:
o Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
o Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS)
o Confocal 3D Laser Microscope
o Microscope FTIR
Develop and iterate upon test methodologies.
Discuss test results and suggest future project directions.
Support routine analytical services by analyzing samples from other teams.
What We Seek
Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques.
Strong data analysis and organizational skills.
Knowledge in analytical or organic chemistry.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year
Chemistry Materials Science Chemical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2026 or later
Eligibility
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform regular lab work in a cleanroom.

Compensation: $25-$30/per hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
