Clinical Lead Nurse Nursing HomeHours per week

Our client a luxury nursing home is looking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Lead Nurse to lead its nursing team and drive high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with strong clinical expertise and a passion for leadership mentorship and continuous improvement.

As the Clinical Lead Nurse you will ensure compliance with CQC standards safeguarding and DOLS regulations while fostering a collaborative positive and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

This full-time position (40 hours/week) includes alternative weekends and shifts from 8:008:00 and 8:0016:00.

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
  • Strong clinical expertise with confidence in leading and inspiring a nursing team.
  • Proven experience in leadership management or supervisory roles in healthcare.
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CQC inspections safeguarding DOLS audits and compliance requirements.
  • Commitment to promoting high standards of nursing care mentoring and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mentor and support the nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Provide clinical guidance and decision-making support in complex or high-pressure situations.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative team culture encouraging professional development.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with safeguarding DOLS CQC and other regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate patient care plans ensuring safety dignity and well-being.
  • Organise and deliver training and mentoring programs to strengthen nursing staff skills.
  • Build strong relationships with patients families and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies for nursing practices and operational processes.
  • Support policy development to maintain alignment with best practice accreditation and compliance requirements.
