WHAT YOULL DO

We are seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager for Fusion Integrations to shape the future of unified data management at Pure this high-impact role you will own the vision and strategy for how Pures next-generation Enterprise Data Cloud seamlessly connects with the worlds most critical IT environmentsfrom hypervisors and clouds to orchestration platforms and enterprise workloads. Youll partner deeply across engineering sales product marketing and business development to deliver transformative platform integrations that enable automated policy-driven and secure data experiences for customers everywhere. • Define overall product and feature requirements - future product strategy with sustainable and compelling differentiation based on customer needs competitive analysis market and technology trends
• Support and enable the product and solutions teams to design cloud enabled storage and compute architectures
• Drive overall roadmap feature tradeoffs prioritization and requirements for a cloud operating model management platform for enterprise storage
• Define & Influence product roadmaps for physical and virtualized hybrid-cloud storage systems
• Field/Sales engage key account field sales teams and channel partners. Work with team to support sales process and drive the overall customer engagement model
• Foster an active ecosystem of customers and partners - Interface with technology partners and vendors both from the perspective of understanding their technology/product roadmap and influencing them to align with Pure strategy
• Oversee competitive materials and SE/Sales support materials as well as customer presentations
• Customer/Market Research gather customer feedback to understand key issues/needs and trends in customer base
• Conduct market and technology analysis to get a broader sense of the market and competitive product use. Strategize storage/cloud roadmap to offer competitive advantage among Scale-up and Scale-out systems
• Define product adoption goals and develop and execute plans to achieve those goals
• Work closely with the executive team to establish the scope and goals of the project and provide leadership for the project teams

WHAT YOU BRING

• 8 years of combined experience in a product management and product development roles
• Strategic leadership and strong business insight
• Understanding of enterprise storage environments deployments and use cases including block file and object
• Understanding of private and public cloud storage use cases
• Understanding of automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code deployments and use cases in enterprise or public cloud environments
• Executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical problem solving
• Consistent track record of developing a vision strategy and execution plan for a product line
• Experience and a solid understanding of product life cycles release milestones from concept inception to product end-of-life
• Ability to think both strategically and tactically
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment with multiple and shifting priorities
• Consistent record of taking ownership and driving results
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or equivalent Masters Degree a plus.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara CA office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
