Are you interested in a position where you can contribute to critical airport functions while working in a collaborative inclusive and service-driven environment Under the general direction of a Field Maintenance Operations Manager this position oversees and directs the daily and seasonal maintenance duties for the field maintenance department including front line contact with various stakeholders for snow removal operations at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. Duty Managers supervise and direct the work of assigned staff assign duties and hours of work and delegate responsibilities to subordinates.
Duty Managers are responsible for the safety of employees and equipment in the performance of all duties. Duty Managers are responsible for the management and maintenance of airside and landside areas such as runways taxiways ramp areas roadways parking and turf areas walks drainage systems fences signs buildings and other public facing areas. Duty Managers perform inspections and prepare required reports.
Duty Managers assist the Field Maintenance Operations Managers in the performance of all designated job functions and in the absence of the manager may assume full responsibility for completion of tasks. Duty Managers are subject to call-in in the event of any emergency condition including snow and ice control operations. Duty Managers collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs and uphold MACs Purpose and Values. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Duty Manager positions typically work in alignment with the following shifts:

| Weekend Afternoons | Saturday - Wednesday | 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. |
RELATIONSHIPS
Supervisory Reports to the assigned Field Maintenance Operations Manager. Has direct supervisory responsibility for assigned field maintenance and fleet staff and seasonal and temporary employees as assigned.
Organizational Works frequently with Field Maintenance and Fleet staff Integrated Operations Landside Operations Public Safety and other MAC managers and supervisors.
External Business Frequent contact with air traffic control tower personnel airline personnel contractors and other tenants.
