Managing project engineering design activities of Large Project on behalf of Project Manager; Ensure project engineering design performances and deliveries to fulfill the objectives of project in respects of safety quality schedule and cost; Ensure project engineering design coordination and control with disciplines internally and with suppliers CDI and client externally.

Part of the core team of the Project (Project Director Project Manager Project Procurement Manager Site Manager)Lead a project engineering management team composed of several PE and document controllers
Review/challenge the hours estimation and the schedule
Establish with Project Scheduler and related Discipline Lead engineers the Engineering baseline master project schedule.
Accountable for the fulfillment of Technical Criteria of the Gate Process
Overall Responsibility for the Engineering management of the assigned Project in terms of scope of supply time delivery quality and compliance with technical contractual requirements
Responsible to ensure Compliance to local codes and requirements information is provided to disciplines and subcontractor specific to local codes and requirements for incorporation into design. Responsible to track implementation to ensure compliance.
Lead the technical interface management with TC Suppliers Design Institutes site and customers with project engineering management team make sure compliance with technical contractual requirements
Make sure the technical contractual requirements have been: i) distributed to all engineering disciplines lead (for the part relevant to its scope) ii) understood and iii) followed.
Prepare the engineering execution plan and split scope between E&C centers or Engineering subcontractor
Control engineering schedule
Lead technical Change Management with project engineering management team
Lead Internal engineering management process with project engineering management team
Ensure that the design chosen meet quality schedule and cost targets.
Accountable to validate any Engineering Reporting file (such as Progress curves man-hours forecast etc.) of use for Project Review.
Ensure that the inquiry/ procurement package to compliance with project technical requirement.
Act as liaison and Technical Reference point for the Site
Follow-up technical risk analysis Define proper mitigation actions together with related disciplines.
Upon request of Project team organize and attend project meetings prepare and issue meeting minutes when necessary;
Working with PM together in forecasting remaining workload of engineering;
Responsible to track and log technical issues as inputs to Technical Lessons Learned
Bachelor degree or above in engineering
Above 10 years working experience in the related fields of engineering designing project management mechanical fields;
Above 3 years experience of project engineering management;
Multi-disciplines engineering knowledge
Good management coordination skills and decision taking capability;
Good team work and leadership ability;
Professional English.
