Head of Production

Our partner is a German company located in Sibiu producing high-end mechatronics.

The Romanian location started production in 2006 presently relying on the sustained work and talent of 1600 employees. Operations are carried out in two factories and fall in two main operational units: Human Machine Interface and Entry Authorization Systems. Both units have the necessary technologies (Electronics Injection Plastic Molding Assembly Laser) and are supported by a Technology Unit which provides Technological Expertise Maintenance and additional Painting & Laser services.

Main Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating the entire production process ensuring that production objectives are efficiently achieved and in accordance with established quality standards.
- Developing implementing and monitoring strategies to optimize production and reduce costs.
- Managing the production team providing support guidance and constant feedback to ensure maximum employee performance.
- Training evaluating coordinating and organizing the team developing and implementing professional development measures.
- Coordinating and monitoring production activities (corrective preventive and predictive) developing/revising action plans defining and monitoring spare parts and stocks.
- KPI management: defining tracking and ensuring the achievement of production performance indicators.
- Monitoring material and equipment stocks ensuring that necessary resources are constantly available.
- Close collaboration with internal departments to ensure efficient communication and smooth operation of the entire production process.
- Implementing and complying with health and safety regulations in the factory.

Requirements:
- Higher technical education: automation electronics electrical engineering mechanics.
- Relevant previous experience (5 years) in production with leadership positions; experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to work under pressure.
- Solid knowledge of production equipment operation and technological processes.
- Proficiency in English advanced level.
- Knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-assessment knowledge.
