Location: Geotechnical Bureau Administrative Support Staff
Employment Type: Part-Time (approx. 24 hours/week)
Duration: 6 months to 1 year (this is a contract position)


Overview

We are seeking a dedicated contract Administrative Assistant to join the Geotechnical Bureaus Administrative Support Staff. This position provides essential clerical and administrative support ensuring smooth operations and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented organized and committed to delivering quality service.


Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Perform complex clerical or administrative work including event coordination and review of technical documents.
  • Accurately gather organize and compile information into final report/package form.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems to support program functions.
  • Process and post data with attention to accuracy.
  • Prepare professional business correspondence using proper grammar punctuation and spelling.
  • Interpret and apply job-related instructions policies procedures and specifications.
  • Receive and respond appropriately to verbal communications.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations as required.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook for daily tasks.
  • Demonstrate effort commitment and ethical conduct in all work assignments.
  • Exercise independent reasoning to determine appropriate guidelines or processes to follow.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers supervisors and other internal/external staff.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support as needed.


Qualifications

  • Education: Associates degree from an accredited college/university OR two years of related administrative experience.
  • Skills: Strong organizational communication and computer skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Employment Terms

  • Part-Time Role: Approximately 24 hours per week.
  • Duration: 6 months to 1 year.
  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
